Sun Stations pt.2

Here I set out and explain the two main ornaments used to play this tune. Namely, the stretched half roll which combines a staccato triplet with either a third, fourth or fifth interval triplet and the double staccato triplet which is played with fingers 3, 2 and 1 repeated.

There's probably much more I could say about technique with regard to this tune but decided to keep things fairly light in the hope that you'll be able to get a couple of really useful tips and tricks that might come in handy elsewhere within your own playing.



On a final note, this video may also be interesting to somebody who knows nothing about the instrument and who may just wan to understand a little more about the basic working of a 2 row diatonic button box.
