Way Back Home pt.2

As promised from my earlier blog post this week here is a short video which explains how to play the introduction from this song that was featured on my 2014 album What's Here Wat's Gone. Two things to note before proceeding:

1. The guitar part uses a dropped D tuning which means that the lowest (6th) string is tuned down a tone from standard E to D.

2. Capo on the third fret which puts the key of the song into Bb minor (nice!)



This is one of my earlier songs but the guitar part is a really enjoyable one to play because of the need to develop a fast fluid picking style whilst pushing the bass notes in the intro as required. Please see my last post for a short performance of it.
